Kenta Shinohara kicked off their new series Astra Lost in Space back in May in the Shonen Jump Plus app in Japan with new chapters looking to come out weekly. At the time, they released some companion web drama readings from the chapter as well. Viz Media announced at their Shonen Jump panel at SDCC this week that they’re going to be bringing the manga over as well with plans for it to be a part of free side on their site, designed to draw people in to check out more of what they offer. No firm date was given for when it’ll begin or how long the chapters will be made available for.
The cast from the dramas, which you can sample here, includes Yūsuke Kobayashi as Kanata Hoshijima, Ayaka Suwa as Aries Spring, Souichiro Hoshi as Charles Lacroix, Daiki Hamano as Zack Walker, Lynn as Kitley Refaeli, Ayumu Murase as Luca Esposito, Aimi Tanaka as Funisia Refaeli, Kyousuke Kitayama as Woolger Zweig and Mizuki Hagino as Patroid.
