With the show already going longer than series showrunner Jeff Davis expected it to, MTV has revealed during the Teen Wolf panel at SDCC that the sixth season will be the last for it. The show is set to kick off the season in November and released the teaser trailer for it that you can see below. It’ll end in 2017 with what will be the 100th episode of the series, which is pretty damn impressive considering the shows origins and the problematic fourth and fifth seasons it had.
“‘Teen Wolf’ has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” he said. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
The series stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden and Shelley Hennig.
A sixth season got the green light last summer.
