As we’re now over six years past when the Martian Successor Nadesico property first hit Blu-ray in Japan back in 2010, it’s now time to bring it out once again and try to capture some new fans with it or those that just missed it the last time around – especially as the secondary market can get pricey. King Records is bringing out a new pressing of the same edition from 2010 with a planned October 1st, 2016 release date for 36,000 yen. The set will include the complete TV series, the theatrical movie and the three-part OVA series for Gekiganger 3.

The set will contain the same extras which included the promos and commercials along with the clean opening, closing, and trailers.

Plot concept: The Earth, Moon, and Martian colonies are under alien attack, but the war against the Jovian Lizards has, so far, been nothing short of a series of disasters. Disgusted by the incompetence of Earth’s military, independent arms manufacturer Nergal builds its own space battleship and plans to launch a desperate offensive to save humanity. Due to a shortage of trained soldiers, however, they’ve assembled the most unorthodox crew to ever launch into orbit!

With a pacifist cook turned unwilling mecha pilot and a ditsy admiral’s daughter in command, can this unprecedented gathering of geeks, misfits, and anime fans prevail against the Jovian menace?
