NY Times Manga Best Seller List For July 9th, 2016

The rankings have come in that the New York Times uses on their best sellers list to compile what’s moving and generating interest out there and Viz Media almost gets the complete list this time around. Seven Seas Entertainment keeps them from achieving that with the fifth volume of The Ancient Magus’ Bride, which is definitely great to see this property on the list again. Viz has a lot of powerhouse titles and One-Punch Man continues to dominate with the latest volume taking the top spot. It manages to edge out new to the list series Haikyuu!! with its first volume arriving. We also see Bleach showing up strongly here along with four volumes of Tokyo Ghoul charting. The latest Nisekoi also nabs a spot as interest continues in the series as it feels like it’s edging towards conclusion.
