There’s definitely some growing anticipation for the upcoming Suicide Squad film and I’m seeing more and more interest from the more casual movie-going friends of mine that don’t pay attention to things until closer to actual release. With the full court press coming up as the actors make their way into promotion for it as it opens around the world, we’re also getting more footage. The latest includes a new international trailer that clocks at a minute and a half which has a touch more Joker material that’s definitely fun to see. We’re expecting a few clips to begin surfacing as well as the film inches ever closer.
Announced for an August 5th, 2016 release, Suicide Squad is being helmed by Fury director David Ayer. The film is set to star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, someone as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
Plot concept: A group of supervillains are brought together to tackle high-risk black ops missions for the government.
