One of the more anticipated titles from this past winter’s simulcast run now has its home video information set as Aniplex USA has scheduled ERASED, known originally as Boku Dake ga Inai Machi. The show was recently announced to have an English language dub produced for it and you can check out the trailer for that below. The twelve episode series is getting a two-volume release with:
- Volume 1 – 10/18/16 – $114.98 – 150 minutes – Trailer Collection, Textless Opening, Textless Ending
- Volume 2- 01/24/17 – $114.98 – 150 Minutes – #11 & #12 Textless Openings, #12 Textless Ending
The series is based on the manga of the same name by Kei Sanbe, which began back in the summer of 2012 in Young Ace.
The Japanese cast includes Shinnosuke Mitsushima as Satoru Fujinuma, Tao Tsuchiya as Satoru Fujinuma (10-year-old), Aoi Yuuki as Kayo Hinazuki, Chinatsu Akasaki as Airi Katagiri, You Taichi as Kenya Kobayashi, Akari Kito as Hiromi Sugita, Ayaka Nanase as Osamu, Yukitoshi Kikuchi as Kazu, Takahiro Mizushima as Jun Shiratori, Minami Takayama as Sachiko Fujinuma and Mitsuru Miyamoto as Gaku Yashiro.
The English cast includes Ben Diskin as Satoru, Michelle Ruff as Young Satoru, Stephanie Sheh as Kayo, Sara Cravens as Sachiko, Cherami Leigh as Airi, Max Mittelman as Yuuki, David Collins as Yashiro, Christine Marie Cabanos as Hiromi, Erica Mendez as Kenya, Ryan Bartley as Osamu, Bobby Thong as Kazu, Mela Lee as Misato and Carrie Keranen as Akemi.
The anime adaptation was directed by Tomohiko Itou based on the scripts by Taku Kishimoto and was produced at A-1 Pictures. Keigo Sasaki worked on the character designs.
Plot concept: 29-year old Satoru Fujinuma is a struggling manga artist who works part time as a pizza delivery man. But he has a secret ability which he names “Revival.” This ability allows Satoru to go back in time to prevent life-threatening incidents from happening.
Now a series of tragic incidents are unfolding before Satoru’s eyes and they may change his life forever…
