The first feature film for the Kizumonogatari trilogy hit theaters today in Japan and the US earlier this year (read our review) and now the focus is on the next installment The second film is titled Nekketsu-hen, aka Passionate Blood, and is scheduled for an August 19th, 2016 premiere in Japan and we’re expecting Aniplex USA will do some select screenings here once again as well. Ahead of all of that, the first teaser trailer for it has arrived, clocking in at just a minute of deliciousness. The third film is Reiketsu-hen, aka Cold Blood and will be getting a premiere date later.
The first film has set Akiyuki Shinbou as the chief director with Tatsuya Oishi directing it. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are on board for the character designs and Shaft is once again handling the production for it.
Plot concept: I think it’s about time I talked about Kiss-Shot-Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. I believe it’s something I have to do. I met her in the spring break between my second and third years of high school. That meeting had such impact, and was also quite devastating.
