New ‘Piacevole! My Italian Cooking’ Anime Visual Surfaces

2 min read

PiacevoleWe learned just over a week or so ago that an anime adaptation is coming for a manga series Piace: Watashi no Italian, which is localized as Piacevole! My Italian Cooking. Now, the original creator behind the series who is also serving as the character designer for the adaptation has put together a beautiful new key visual that just has me craving some serious pizza! The new anime adaptation is likely to be a short as it’s coming from Earth star Entertainment, though no details are set yet in regards to running time or season.

The adaptation will be directed by Hiroaki Sakurai with character designs by Atsuko Watanabe. Zero-G is handling the animation, who is doing the main work on the Battery adaptation.

The original work comes from Atsuko Watanabe with four volumes in print so far. With a look towards food and cute girls, it’s easy to imagine this one will go over well – and as we said at the time, it was likely to see an anime adaptation as well considering the current climate for these types of properties.

Check out the first volume here!

Plot concept: High schooler Morina Nanase starts work at Trattoria Festa, an Italian restaurant filled with various and sundry quirky characters…and where through its unique cuisine, she will begin to mature as a person.
