Final ‘Flying Witch Petit’ Anime Episode Arrives

Flying Witch Petit Episode 8The spring 2016 anime adaptation of the manga series Flying Witch from Chihiro Ishizuka is finishing up this weekend the folks at VAP are complementing the TV series with the final installment of the short-form CG oriented pieces. These are shorts that showcases the day to day lives of the main characters as a web series. The eighth and final episode clocks in at just over two minutes and focuses on the importance of napping!

The TV series is scheduled to premiere on April 9th, 2016. With JC Staff producing it, Katsushi Sakurabi has been set to direct it while Deko Akao is handling the scripts. Character designs are being done by Masato Yasuno.

The TV series cast includes Minami Shinoda as Makoto Kowata, Eri Suzuki as Chinatsu Kuramoto, Shinsuke Sugawara as Kei Kuramoto, Kana Aoi as Akane Kowata, Shiori Mikami as Nao Ishiwatari, Mari Hino as Inukai, Yuka Iguchi as Anzu Shiina, Ai Kayano as Chito, Ayane Sakura as Kenny and Ari Ozawa as Al.

The manga began back in 2012 in Bessatus Shonen Magazine and has released three volumes so far with a fourth to ship in April in Japan. The show has enlisted the voice actors Shinoda and Suzuki to perform the ending theme song for it sa well.

Plot concept: The series follows the 15-year-old witch Makoto Kowata and the other boys and girls in her daily life. With her black cat Chito, the somewhat aimless girl moved from Yokohama to live with her second cousin at Aomori in verdant northern Japan.
