New Anime This Week

The month of June rolls on and the anime DVD and Blu-ray releases continue to flow as they must, and as we demand. This week is a bit light in a sense but we get a good mix of titles. Aniplex USA brings out a new release with the Sword Art Online: Extra Edition Blu-ray, but the bulk of the releases come from Sentai Filmworks. They double it up a bit with separate DVD and Blu-ray releases, but they have three titles on tap today. First, we get the bilingual release of the Bodacious Space Pirates movie, which is a lot of fun, and we get the monolingual release of Love Stage!!, adding some really cute silliness to the mix. The distributor also has the latest complete collection for Rozen Maiden out so you can get a lot of great material on the affordable side.
