The fall 2015 anime series momokuri has finally found its plans for a home video release after ending this past February. The twenty-six episode series, which is made up of twelve minute episodes, will arrive on August 26th, 2016. The show is getting the full box set treatment with separate DVD and Blu-ray editions that are both priced at 25,000 yen. Extras for the set include the clean opening and closing, promo and commercial collections, and an audio commentary.
The property is based on the manga of the same name from Kurose, which is part of the Comic web manga app and began back in 2014.
The show was directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike and was animated at Satelight. Plot concept: The story revolves around Yuki Kurihara, a girl who has finally been granted her wish of dating her crush Momo. At first glance, she just looks like a normal but very cute girl. However, she is in fact a maniac over Momo, taking notes of his activities and never missing the chance to see him in a cute moment. Momo, on the other hand, is inexperienced in love, and just wants to make Yuki happy.
