‘Attack on Titan’ Getting Monopoly Game

Attack on Titan MonopolyThe folks at USAopoly continue to produce some interesting variations on the Monopoly game with a range of licenses that make for some very fun and unique experiences. The company has announced a Steven Universe edition as well as an Attack on Titan edition, which is certainly of interest to folks around these parts.

“Monopoly: Attack on Titan is based on the popular anime series produced by Wit Studio and Production I.G and licensed by Funimation Entertainment for North America. In the game, players travel the board building walls and gates, attempting to build an elite squad to crush the titan threat and ensure humanity’s survival. The game is for 2 – 6 players, ages 8 and up. MSRP is $39.95.”

Original concept: When the man-eating giants called Titans first appeared, humans retreated behind massive walls. After a hundred years of safety, a colossal-sized Titan smashes through the defenses, unleashing a flood of giants and carnage in the streets. Eren Jaeger watches helplessly as one of the creatures devours his mother. He vows to kill every Titan walking the earth.

Eren and his surviving friends enlist to fight against the insatiable monsters. The future looks bleak, but there’s more to Eren than meets the eye: he may be humanity’s last hope against extinction. The Titans have come to feast. Anything can happen. No one is safe.
