‘Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!’ Anime Debuts First TV Spot

Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru Visual 5-27The anime adaptation of the manga series Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! is almost here and now TBS Animation has cut the first TV spot for the show with a quick 15-second piece. The series is slated for a July 8th, 2016 broadcast in Japan on TBS. The series has set Kei Oikawa to direct it based on series composition from Naruhisa Arakawa. Character designs are being handled by Mai Otsuka with animation coming from studio feel.

The announced cast includes Ari Ozawa as Mizuki Usami, Yuusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Uchimaki, Sumire Uesaka as Collette, Nao Touyama as Maria Imari, Nana Mizuki as Yumeko Tachibana, Kentarou Tone as President, Hirohiko Kakegawa as Koyama-sensei, Sora Tokui as Kaori Ayase, Chiaki Shimogama as Sayaka Honda, Kana Marutsuka as Kokugawa Ryouko, Aimi Tanaka as Moka, Mikako Komatsu as Shizuka and Ayane Sakura as Magical Ribbon.

The opening theme “STARTING NOW!” is perforemd by Nana Mizuki while the ending theme “Koisuru Zukei” is performed by by Sumire Uesaka.

The manga comes from Muru Imigi as serialized in Dengeki Maoh. The title has been running since 202 and has several volumes in circulation so far.

Plot concept: A girl with a lot of common sense, a boy whose only inspiration is to draw the perfect bride in 2D, and their always sleeping president. What is wrong with this art club?
