This week saw the return of Action Comics from DC Comics with its numbering restored to where it needs to be after deviating with the New 52 run. With a 78-year history for the book with a range of stories, they’ve put together a pretty good range of books to choose from here with their top ten issues of all time. It works more recent books and the much older installments, including the arrival of Supergirl in the world as well as some other very fun concepts.
Clocking in at four minutes, and not putting the debut issue as the top issue, definitely provides for a quick but engaging look at some very diverse kinds of stories that the character and book has dealt with over the years. I think it needed more John Byrne era stories, personally…
