Latest ‘Psycho-Pass: The Movie’ Anime Dub Clip Focuses on Action

Psycho=Pass Movie Header 6-9Funimation brought out Psycho-Pass: The Movie on DVD/BD this week, which includes an UltraViolet version as well, and the marketing for it continues as the latest clip for it shows off more of the feature. Clocking in at just under two minutes, it’s a solid piece that showcases some of the action within the film and ist design as it continues the story from the two seasons of the TV shows that have been produced so far.

The film has Zach Bolton set as the ADR director with John Burgmeier overseeing Jared Hedges, Joel Bergen and Alex Muniz as the script writers. The cast includes Kate Oxley as Akane, Robert McCollum as Kogami, Josh Grelle as Ginoza, Cherami Leigh as Shimotsuki, Lindsay Seidel as Kunizuka, Z Charles Bolton as Hinakawa, Lydia Mackay as Shion, Mike McFarland as Sugo, Michael Federico as Saiga, Stephanie Young as Dominator, Jason Liebrecht as Nicholas Wong and Major Attaway as Desmond Rutaganda.

The film is approximately 120 minutes with the original story from Gen Urobuchi and a screenplay by him and Makoto Fukami with Akira Amano on character design, produced by Production IG.

Plot concept: Year 2116 – The Japanese government begins to export the Sibyl System unmanned drone robots to troubled countries, and the system spreads throughout the world. A state in the midst of a civil war, SEAUn (the South East Asia Union), brings in the Sibyl System as an experiment. Under the new system, the coastal town of Shambala Float achieves temporary peace and safety. But then SEAUn sends terrorists to Japan. They slip through the Sibyl System and then attack from within. The shadow of a certain man falls on this incident. In charge of the police, Tsunemori travels to Shambala Float to investigate. The truth of justice on this new ground will become clear.
