The ‘RE: Hamatora’ Anime Sounds Delicious in German

2 min read

RE Hamatora HeaderKaze Deuthschland began releasing the Re: Hamatora cour of the property back in March of this year and they tend to bring their trailers out for a good bit after they debut. As noted elsewhere, there’s a lot of appeal in hearing how shows sound in other languages because it gets you to remember that hearing it in your native language may have you judging it differently than one you’re not fluent in.

Check out our review of this series here.

This second cour for the property had mostly a returning production team but with studio Lerche taking on the main role while NAZ will be collaborating. The series is based on the original work by Cafe Nowhere with Seiji Kishi directed based on scripts by Yukinori Kitajima and Jun Kumagi with character designs by Yu Wazu and Keiko Kuraosawa. Kurosawa also handled the animation direction.

The series stars Hiroshi Kamiya as Art, Ryota Ohsaka as Nice, Wataru Hatano as Murasaki, Emiri Katō as Hajime, Eri Kitamura as Honey, Jun Fukuyama as Birthday, Katsuki Murase as Three, Kiyono Yasuno as Koneko, Takuya Eguchi as Mao, Yūichi Nakamura as Ratio, Yousuke Akimoto as Gasuke and Atsushi Ono as Master.

Plot concept: The highly anticipated sequel is here. Wrapped in shock and mystery, the story continues!

It has been three months since the incident at Yokohama. Things have been settling down at Cafe Nowhere. Murasaki and Hajime have teamed up and started investigating again. After an unforeseen reunion, Art holds Nice at gunpoint. What are his real intentions? What will become of the connection between Art and Hamatora?
