We’re getting ready for the season finale tomorrow with a double-length event and ahead of that the official Star Wars channel has put out an unofficial fun list of the top ten moments of the series so far. A lot of them are focused on the second season where things really did start clicking better, but it has a lot of good stuff overall. While I’m still preferring The Clone Wars series more as it was more wide-ranging in what it wanted to do, the second season of Rebels has definitely found its groove and is integrating itself well. The series airs Wednesday’s at 9pm on Disney XD.
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
