With the North American release out today from Sentai Filmworks and Hanabee announcing earlier this month their acquisition of the series, MVM Entertainment UK has now announced that they’ll be bringing out Monthly Girls’ Nokzaki in their market as well. The series will be getting a collectors edition priced at £49.99 on July 27th, 2016 that will come with the three CD soundtracks that are included in the North American release. Extras include the Nozaki-kun Shorts, Promos, Commercials, Clean Opening and Clean Ending.

The summer 2014 anime series, based on the manga by Izumi Tsubaki (creator of Oresama Teacher), is animated by Dogakobo. It’s directed by Mitsue Yamazaki based on scripts and composition by Yoshiko Nakamura and character designs by Junichiro Taniguchi. The original four-panel web manga began in the summer of 2011 and is ongoing with seven published volumes to date.
Plot concept: A confession gone awry has resulted with Chiyo Sakura as the newest assistant to Umetaro Nozaki. Known in the publishing world under the alias Yumeno Sakiko, Nozaki is the creator of the ever-popular shoujo manga, Let’s Have a Romance!
Despite his renowned skills as a manga artist, Nozaki is completely clueless in the art of real life romance. Relying heavily on the lives of his motley group of assistants to be his source of inspiration, Nozaki’s understanding of love is as skewed as the lives of his characters. Can Sakura properly convey her feelings to her long time crush or will she forever be relegated to assistant?
