The latest sales rankings out of Japan have arrived and there’s definitely some interesting things going on with this particular week ending on March 27th. The third installment of Osomatsu hits just under 50,000 units combined between the two formats, making for a great release, while teh fourth Owarimonogatari installment climbs to just under 23,000 between the two formats. We also see Arpeggio of Blue Steel racking up a lot of sales with two different Blu-ray editions plus the DVDs, giving us around 23,000 units as well. A really great release that we’re happy to see is the Aria the Natural box set bringing in 13,000 Blu-ray sales!
This week also saw the debut of some first volumes and the sequel series for KONOSUBA makes more sense as it did just under 9,000 on Blu-ray alone. The first ERASED volume eked out 2,600 units while the first Active Raid did just 1,700. Even Prince of Stride barely managed 1,700. A lot of other titles didn’t chart on the Blu-ray side but you can see them on the DVD side, such as Diabolik Lovers and Norn9 along with more Assassination Classroom.
