‘Nanbaka’ Anime Gets Scheduling

1 min read

NanabakaWe learned last November when the first print volume of the Nanabaka manga arrived that an anime adaptation was coming. The adaptation of Sho Futamata’s manga will be directed by Shinji Takamatsu, who has experience in comedy material with School Rumble and Gintama, and he’ll be working off of scripts from Mitsutaka Hirota. We haven’t heard much since then and not much more was revealed this weekend at AnimeJapan 2016. What we did get was a new banner that revealed that it’s being planned for a Fall 2016 broadcast debut in Japan.

The manga began back in the PlayArt app back in 2013.

Plot concept: The story ak out of prison and ended up extending his jail time; Uno, a man who likes to gamble with women; Rokku, a man who likes to get into fights; and Niko, a man who likes anime. Along with their warden Hajime, the high-tension action comedy story unfolds.
