Viz Media brought out a little more Naruto: Shippuden in dubbed form on Hulu this weekend with the addition of episodes 78 through 82. These episodes originally saw release on DVD in the US back in 2011. Viz has been bringing out dubbed material somewhat sporadically and in odd amounts for a bit so there are a lot of gaps with what’s available, though this set follows what came before so you can watch the first 82 episodes in a row now. The next episode available after this is 141, so hopefully we’ll see some of this filled in soon.
Plot concept: Asuma and Shikamaru have to think on their feet as they face the mind-boggling jutsu of the Akatsuki pair Hidan and Kakuzu. At the last minute, the Akatsuki are called away, but not before dealing a fatal blow to a revered shinobi of the Leaf. The devastated ninja left behind can think only of revenge, but Tsunade is opposed to the scheme until an offer of help arrives from an unexpected source.
