The official Star Wars channel has put together a pretty solid two-minute promotional video that takes us on the journey of Ahsoka and her connection with Darth Vader. With Ahsoka being a decent part of the current season of Star Wars Rebels, her role is much larger as she had a prominent part to play in the Clone Wars series. With Rebels having introduced Vader and pushing her towards understanding the connection there, it’s sounding like things are going to go big soon as things are coming to a head between them.
Which, naturally, is making Ahsoka fans edgy!
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
