‘The Great Passage’ Novel Getting noitaminA Anime Adaptation

The Great Passage VisualFuji TV has a few things on deck today with what’s to come from the noitaminA block and one of those is the anime adaptation of the novel Fune wo Amu, known as The Great Passage. The novel comes from Shion Miura and a visual and promotional video was released for it. The series has set Haruko Kumota to handle the character designs for the adaptation. The series is scheduled for an October 2016 debut.

Plot concept: The series revolves around Mitsuya Majime and Masashi Nishioka. Mitsuya is a serious man who is a poor talker, and Masashi is a sociable man. The novels follow their friendship, determination, and passion as they work together to publish a new dictionary titled “The Great Passage” (Daitokai).
