The final week of sales for the manga world has arrived via the New York Times Best Seller list and it’s a week that again shakes things up a little bit. Viz Media continues to take the top spots with its popular titles, but it’s not a full sweep of two or three series running roughshod over the whole list. Tokyo Ghoul naturally draws people in with the fifth volume and that helps to attract new readers to the first volume. One-Punch Man also charts well and the Naruto book continues to find new readers.
Kodansha Comics gets two books on the chart this week with new Fairy Tail, always a good seller for them, and Noragami holding on for another week.
Yen Press gets a newly listed book arriving with the debut of the fourth volume of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, a series that continues to work well for them.
Seven Seas also maintains three books on the list, giving them some great exposure with Dragonar Academy, Monster Musume and 12 Beast.
