The short form series Miss Monochrome went a bit unusual with how it was handling its home video release for the second and third seasons of the series that appeared in the Ultra Super Anime Time block. The first season of the show was given two DVD and Blu-ray releases with the season split in half back in 2013. With the second and third seasons rolling right into each other back in 2015, it was announced that they’d be coming out together in one box set with the full twenty-six episode run, though again these aren’t full-length episodes. The show is scheduled for a March 9th, 2016 release priced at 16,200 yen and the full cover artwork has now been released.
The set comes with the various clean opening and closing sequences and a booklet as its extras.
Plot concept: In this short animated series, Miss Monochrome is an android who decides to try and become a top idol singer in the ever growing competitive market.
