Eiichiro Oda Adds ‘One Piece Film Gold’ Visual

One Piece Film Gold VisualThe 2016 debut of One Piece Film Gold may be a ways off but there’s plenty of time to get some visuals and materials out there. And after the terrible teaser they put out last year, the more the better to try and wipe it away. Thankfully, the official site and social media for the film has updated with a new visual from original creator Eiichiro Oda that gives us a great look at the cast with the new character brought into it as well. It’s got a lot of detail and is definitely the kind of poster you’d want to display and get out there. They’ll begin their run in theaters on March 19th for fans to see.

Scheduled for a July 23rd, 2016 theatrical release in Japan, the new visual has arrived for it and you realize that there’s been very little “gold” in the series itself, which feels weird considering they’re pirates and treasure hunters.

Hiroaki Miyamoto will be directing it based on the screenplay by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. Miyamoto previously directed a good chunk of the TV series while Kuroiwa worked on The Perfect Insider this season as well as the live action Black Butler film.
