2 min read

Alien CovenantWith production being eyed for a start next month, the upcoming Alien: Covenant film is now getting more of its casting finalized and announced. The film has now rounded out more of the crew of the Covenant as we get to see what’s going on in the galaxy post-Prometheus that will lead towards the original Alien film. The new cast members include Jussie Smolett (Empire), Amy Seimetz (Upstream Color), Carmen Ejogo (Selma, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them) and Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills).

The film us scheduled for release on October 6th, 2017. Directed by Ridley Scott, it stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride and Demian Bichir.

Plot concept: Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
