With the debut of the Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Movie: Gyakushuu no Milky Holmes movie this weekend, the Bushiroad Music channel has upped its marketing blitz to raise awareness a bit more. The latest to arrive is a new trio of TV and web spots that focuses on the characters of Nero, Tsukigo and Arsene, allowing their voice actors to narrate the spots and focus on them a bit with the clips used as well. Set to debut on February 27th, 2016, the film has brought back the staff from the first two series for it along with the cast.
The feature is directed by Makoto Moriwaki and Hiroaki Sakura based on the script by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Seiya Numata is again handling the adaptation of the character designs for the project.
The cast for the film includes Suzuko Mimori as Sherlock Shellingford, Sora Tokui as Nero Yuzurisaki, Mikoi Sasaki as Hercule Barton, Izumi Kitta as Cordelia Glauca, Satomi Akesaka as Arsène/Henriette Mystère, Daisuke Kishio as Twenty/Kai Nijūri, Takuma Terashima as Stone River/Sōseki Ishinagare, Hiro Shimono as Rat/Jiro Nezu, Yoshino Nanjou as Kokoro Akechi, Ryoko Shintani as Hirano Hasegawa, Yukari Tamura as Saku Tooyama and Miyuki Sawashiro as Tsugiko Zenigata.
Plot concept: The four members of Milky Holmes are going on a study tour. While soaking in the hot springs among snow monkeys, alarms interrupt the relaxing environment! It was the work of the Thief Empire. A fierce battle between Milky Holmes and the Thief Empire begins, with both sides using their Toys (special powers). Furthermore, with the arrival of the Genius 4, a three-way fight occurs! In the midst of battle, a violent lightning strikes from the sky. Struck by the lightning, the four Milky Holmes girls lose their abilities.
