While we continue to wait to see what will happen with Psychic School Wars in North America, Anime Limited has now set the French edition of the series known as Nerawareta Gakuen. The company previously had its UK release scheduled and this edition looks pretty much spot on similar except with French subtitles. Scheduled for an April 13th, 2016 release, the feature will have a DVD/BD collectors edition priced at 30 euro while a DVD only edition is priced at 20 euro.

The nearly two-hour feature came out back in the fall of 2012 from Aniplex and was directed by Ryousuke Nakamura who also wrote the screenplay and did both key animation and storyboard work on it. Mieko Hosoi served as the chief animation director and the character designer on it.

Plot Concept: Spring marks the start of another new school year at a junior high school in Kamakura. A new transfer student, Ryoichi Kyogoku joins the 8th grade. Kyogoku has a very special proficiency in telepathy and has been ordered by his father to use this ability to scan other people’s minds and take over the school. He instantly gains popularity at school from his good looks and charisma and he sets about taking control of the school. As people begin to fall under Kyogoku’s spell, he covertly manipulates his followers and pushes aside anyone who gets in his way. With the school almost completely under the control of Kyogoku, only one boy seems unaffected —Seki. Does Seki have what it takes to save everyone from the clutches of mind control?
