2 min read

dead-leavesAs is the case with streaming services, nothing lasts forever and before you know it shows and films you took for granted are retired from the service for awhile. Four films that are distributed by Starz are set to expire on March 1st, 2016 on Hulu and that means these features in their various forms won’t be around for awhile. They’re likely to come back sometime in the future, but distributors like to rotate things out to rebuild interest a bit. So if you’re keen on seeing these before they head out, now’s the time.

Dead Leaves

Plot concept: Pandy and Retro awaken naked on Earth with no recollection of their past. They embark on a crime spree in search of food and clothing, but are captured by authorities and sent to the infamous lunar penitentiary named Dead Leaves.

Macross II: The Movie

Plot concept: Hibiki Kanzaki, an investigative reporter for Scramble News Network (SNN), is caught in the battle when he inadvertently allies himself with Ishtar, an enigmatic and beautiful Zentradi princess who has been isolated from human culture.

Redline

Plot concept: A daredevil driver and his secret love face off in the most dangerous and exciting car race in the universe. Takeshi Koike (THE ANIMATRIX) directs and animates this high-speed thrill.

Revolutionary Girl Utena: Adolescence of Utena

Plot concept: The thrilling feature-length movie based on Kunihiko Ikuhara’s (TV’S SAILOR MOON) fan favorite series is a fun re-telling of this fantasy high school soap opera.
