2 min read

Fuse ContestWith Anime Limited having acquired Fuse: Memoirs of a Huntress for the UK market last year, a dip into the French market is not a surprise at all. The distributor has now set a French-specific release of this feature for a March 9th, 2016 release in a DVD/BD collector’s edition format and a regular edition DVD. The CE is priced at 34.93 euro and comes with a slipcase and a thirty-six page artbook as its premium piece. The regular edition DVD is priced at 19.94 euro. Both editions come with Japanese and French language tracks as well as French subtitles.

The series previous saw a North American release through NIS America, which we reviewed previously here.

Update: Anime Limited has informed us that the Amazon.FR listing is incorrect and there is no French language dub.

Plot concept: Hamaji, a young huntress from the mountains, stumbles into the middle of a shogun’s vendetta against a group of human and dog hybrids, the Fusé. Rumors of Fusé murdering innocent people in the bustling city of Edo have sparked a bounty for their heads. Along with her brother, Hamaji joins the hunt for this dangerous quarry, but after accidentally befriending one of them, Hamaji is torn between two worlds: her life as a self-reliant huntress, and the young woman her new friend has helped her to uncover.
