The latest New York Times rankings for manga with what’s selling and moving has arrived and we get a bit more variety once again this week. Viz Media is continuing to have some first and early volumes of series ranking well since there’s crossover appeal and more folks finally checking out things like Tokyo Ghoul and One-Punch Man as well as My Hero Academia. They also get some good nods on the list with new Deadman Wonderland and Assassination Classroom. This week does see a couple of new titles on the list that are not from Viz Media, which is a nice change as well. The latest installment of Monster Musume tops the chart with its silliness and sexuality, which is no surprise. Seven Seas has had a good run with the series so far and are likely wishing there were a lot more volumes in the queue to work through. They also get the third volume of Magika Swordsman and Summoner ranking, which has its own bit of fanservice that draws in readers.
