While this particular bit of Japanese entertainment has never done much for me, I’m definitely glad that fans are finding a great home for it on Crunchyroll. The service has revealed that they now have the full thirty-seven episode run of Ultraman Nexus available on their service for streaming. This season of the series originally ran back in 2004 to 2005 with episodes running for twenty-four minutes each. It’s seen home video release in Japan but nothing in the US.
Availability is really good as it’s available to Crunchyroll members worldwide except for Asia.
Plot concept: Kazuki Komon, a failed Rescue Squad member, gets recruited by the Terrestrial Liberation Trust (TLT) to join the Night Raiders, a top classified special task force assembled by the TLT to protect Earth from space monsters. After undergoing stringent training, Kazuki gets paired with the cool Night Raider sub-captain Nagi Saijyo for active duty.
