14After a pretty strong episode the last time around with The Legends of Lasat, the official site is now setting things up for this week’s Star Wars Rebels with a second promotional video out for The Call. This one gives us some time with the team getting a bad feeling about things – and rightly so as some intriguing TIE fighters arrive on the scene. The series airs Wednesday’s at 9pm on Disney XD.
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
