Crunchyroll Adds ‘Noblesse: Awakening’ Anime Adaptation

Noblesse Awakening Crunchyroll HeaderBased on the Korean work by Jeho Son and Kwangsu Lee, Crunchyroll has added the OVA Nobelesse: Awakening to their streaming lineup for the season. The thirty-minute work is the first anime adaptation of the LINE Webtoon series that began in 2007 and went global in 2014 where there are over 400 episodes to date. The anime adaptation, seeking to grab some new marketshare, is adapted by Production IG and was directed by Shunsuke Tada and Kazuto Nakazawa.

Crunchyroll has this OVA available worldwide for viewers and LINE Webtoon will launch a 10-episode limited edition spin-off series titled Noblesse: Rai’s Adventure, with the first episode currently available on the platform.

Plot concept: The series is about Cadis Etrama di Raizel who wakes up from 820-years long sleep and starts a new life as a high school student. His peaceful days as a student are soon interrupted by a group of attackers known as the “Unions.” Noblesse follows Raizel and his loyal servant, Frankenstein, as they constantly protect and save Raizel’s new human friends from the mysterious threats.
