‘Justice League Action’ Series Announced For Cartoon Network

2 min read

Justice League Action VisualIt’s back to the lion’s den with Warner Bros. once again as they have a new animated series that will be premiering on Cartoon Network sometime this year with Justice League Action. Having been burned by Cartoon Network far too many times, let’s just say my hopes are low when it comes to the network but high with Warner Animation itself.

The new series is set to be done in 11-minute episodes similar to Teen Titans Go! and it’ll feature a solid voice cast. Kevin Conroy returns to voice Batman while Mark Hamill will be back as The Joker. We also know that James Woods will participate as Lex Luthor while Diedrich Bader will be taking on the role of Booster Gold. Bader, amusingly enough, starred as Batman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Plot concept: “Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.
