‘Jing King of Bandits’ Anime Streaming Expiring

2 min read

Jing King of Bandits HeaderHulu is now listing another series that’s going to have its streaming run expire soon with Jing King of Bandits. The series has a familiar element to this with a few other expiring titles in that it’s an Aniplex show. The series originally ran back in 2002 and was licensed by ADV Films and then distributed by Funimation since they went out of business. The show originally ran for thirteen episodes but only a few episodes are currently left streaming on Hulu in bilingual form. Funimation delisted their pages recently for it as well. The last release of the show on DVD was back in 2009 and various editions run high on the secondary market.

Plot concept: Jing may appear to be a young boy, but his remarkable skills make him one of the most feared thieves on the planet. Along with his feathered partner Kir, Jing travels from town to town, stealing anything of value regardless of the amount of security. But when he’s in a pinch, he has one more trick up his sleeve: Kir bonds with Jing’s right arm to perform the effectively deadly “Kir Royale” attack. And because of all this, Jing is infamously known by many as the “King of Bandits.”
