The latest sales rankings out of Japan for the world of manga and light novels have arrived and it’s certainly a bit of a lighter week, though a good one in some areas. While the latest Monogatari novel takes the top spot and we’re seeing interest in a number of light novels that have new anime adaptations, the manga side is pretty solid all around. Chihayafuru takes the top spot as it often does with just under 200,000 units and it’s followed up Sakamoto desu ga?, which we expect to see rise even more once folks discover it through the upcoming anime series. Fairy Tail arrives in third place this week and we get a few other new arrivals alongside some continuing sales, from One Piece to Blue Exorcist and more.
