Rainbow Days GameThe multifaceted approach to bringing out new properties means there’s a lot of ways you can dip into not just the show itself but other areas that keeps it alive when it’s not on. Tokuma Japan has released a new brief promo for the Rainbow Days app game that shows off some of what it does, giving you a look at how it plays. It does indicate that there are vocal pieces as the cast members are listed, but the promo doesn’t bring any of that out. The game is coming out in the spring for iOS and Android based system as a free to play basic with in-app purchases.

The anime series, which has the cast from the drama CDs reprising their roles, is scheduled to debut on January 10th, 2016 on Tokyo MX. It’s planned to be a 12-minute per episode series and that it will be produced for two cour, though it wasn’t made clear whether the second cour will follow right away or not.

The manga itself began back in 2012 from Minami Mizuno. The series is directed by Tetsuro Amino as the chief director while Tomihiko Okkubo is serving as the main director. Aki Itami is handling the scripts while the animation is being done at Production Reed.

The cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Tomoya Matsunaga, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Keiichi Katakura, Kouki Uchiyama as Tsuyoshi Naoe, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Natsuki Hashiba, Minami Tsuda as Anna Kobayakawa, Yumi Uchiyama as Mari Tsutsui, Ai Kayano as Nozomi Matsunaga and Shizuka Ishigami as Yukiko Asai.

Plot concept: After getting dumped on Christmas day, high school boy and hopeless romantic Natsuki Hashiba crosses paths with Anna, an aloof girl in a Santa outfit passing out tissues. For him it’s love at first sight, for her… not so much. With help from his best friends—a playboy, an otaku, and a nice guy with a sadistic streak—Natsuki sets out to win Anna’s heart and heal his own heartbreak along the way.
