As part of a DC Films special on The CW last night, Margot Robbie introduced the first full and formal Suicide Squad trailer since the sizzle reel that was shown at Comic Con last summer. The trailer is certainly proving to be divisive among movie fans with what they take way from it, but coming from the perspective of someone that has craved this concept since the book first arrived in the 80’s, this is definitely what I’ve been waiting for and the trailer nails it perfectly in catching your attention while also giving you some sweet visuals to dive into – particularly with Mr. J literally doing that at one point.
Announced for an August 5th, 2016 release, Suicide Squad is being helmed by Fury director David Ayer. The film is set to star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, someone as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
Plot concept: A group of supervillains are brought together to tackle high-risk black ops missions for the government.
