The latest sales rankings have arrived out of Japan for anime releases that landed for the week ending January 17th, 2016, and we again get another quiet week. One that lets Love Live! with its movie release take the top spot with just under 4,100 copies, bringing its total to 220,000 so far. The top new release is the latest volume of Working!! at just a hair under 3,000 followed by K: Return of Kings with its fourth volume at 2,00 copies. After that the drop is precipitous as everything else is under 1,000 copies on Blu-ray. And the DVD rankings are even worse where everything is essentially under 700 copies this week.
