Aniplex USA is going to be bringing out the film The Anthem of the Heart to North America with an import version of the film at the same time that it lands in Japan. The two-hour film will be getting both its limited edition form and its standard edition form released here with English subtitles, though only for the main program and not the extras, on March 30th, 2016. The work comes from the team behind the AnoHana project with Taktsuyuki Nagai directing it based on the story with Mari Okada and character designs by Masayoshi Tanaka. The cast for the feature includes Inori Minase as Jun Naruse, Kouki Uchiyama as Takumi Sakagami, Sora Amamiya as Natsuki Nido and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Daiki Tazaki.
Plot concept: Jun is a girl whose words have been sealed away. She was once a very happy girl, but because of a certain thing she said when she was very young, her family was torn apart. One day, the egg fairy appeared in front of her and sealed away her ability to talk in order to stop her from hurting anybody else. Since this traumatic experience, Jun lives in the shadows away from the limelight.
