Dubbletalk Tackles Latest ‘Seraph of the End’ Anime Episode

Seraph of the End Episode 45 DubbletalkThe Seraph of the End series has finished out with its simulcast run but the Broadcast Dub run continues – for just a bit longer. FUNimation went into detail with episode 45 this past week as part of theirDubbletalk feature and have a lot of fun talking about it in the way most of us do when engaging with other friends in person. The second half set Jerry Jewell as the ADR director with Monical Rial serving as the lead writer on it. The cast includes Eric Vale as Ferid, Justin Briner as Mikaela, Micah Solusod as Yuichiro, Dave Trosko as Guren, Chris Burnett as Yoichi, Felecia Angelle  as Shinoa and Seth Magill as Yamanaka.

The series was split into two cour for its run in 2015 with the first half running in the spring season in April through June and then the second half in the fall season from October to December. Anime Limited has already picked up the UK rights to this property while FUNimation has the North American rights.

Animated by Wit Studio, the series was directed by Daisuke Tokutsuchi while Masashi Koizuka served as assistant director. The show had its scripts and composition done by Hiroshi Seko while Satoshi Kadowaki handled the character designs. The series stars Takahiro Sakurai as Felid Bathory and Saori Hayami as Shinoa Hiiragi. Additional casting includes Miyu Irino as Yuichiro Hyakuya, Kensho Ono as Mikaela Hyakuya, Yuichi Nakamura as Guren Ichinose, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Yoichi Saotome, Kaito Ishikawa as Shiho Kimizuki, Tomoaki Maeno as Kureo Hiragi, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Shinya Hiragi. Aoi Yuki as Krul, Kenichi Suzumura as Crowly, Yuka Iguchi as Mitsuba Sangu, Atsumi Tanezaki as Sayuri Hanayori, Yui Ishikawa as Shigura Yukimi, Daisuke Ono as Norito Goshi and Yu Shimamura as Mito Jujo.

The series began in 2012 with Viz Media releasing the manga in North America.

Plot concept: After the Shinjuku Battle, Yuichiro reunites with Mikaela only to discover he’s been turned into a vampire. To save what’s left of his family and protect his new friends, Yuichiro desperately tries to find a way to return vampires to their human forms. His search becomes a race against time when Kureto reveals to Guren that in one month, the main unit of the vampire army will start attacking Tokyo. There’s no time to waste, the real fight is about to begin!
