The latest manga and light novel sales rankings have arrived and there’s certainly some good numbers in there for a lot of titles, though most are second-week sales. Some of them had very meager first week sales as they were part of the day or two after the Christmas holiday and had a shorter selling period, though One Piece continues to be impressive in general as it’s racked up 2.1 million copies sold so far. The latest Assassination Classroom also shot up and we get a doubling for Kimi ni Todoke and a lot of other books adding around 100,000 units sold with recent volumes. For those that enjoyed the Orange manga and got into it because of the film all five volumes have added a range of about 40,000 units each to their sales, which is a pretty sweet bonus.
