The end of the year isn’t exactly the busiest of release weeks in general, but there are always new things that arrive. The latest rankings out of Japan for the week of December 28th through January 3rd has arrived and there are some decent movements to be had here. Topping the list is the last SNAFU release at just under 8,000 on Blu-ray while other new arrivals in the top ten includes Charlotte and… that’s it. Everything else are continuing sales, which has Love Live! bolstering its numbers past 200,000 easily while Is the Order a Rabbit?? bumps its first volume LE up to the 12,000 unit mark. It’s also not surprising to see that the Aria release dropped significantly, adding another 1000 units to its total after picking up 14,000 in its debut for a very expensive box set. The DVD side itself is all pretty low with just the latest One Piece collection doing much movement as well as the latest Kuroko’s Basketball.
