‘The Clockwork Planet’ Light Novel Getting Anime Adaptation

The Clockwork Planet VisualA new anime adaptation has been revealed through an official site with the light novel series The Clockwork Planet getting the nod as being in production. The four volume series is part of the Kodansha Ranobe imprint and is written by Tsubaki Himana and Yuu Makiya with illustrations by Shino. A manga adaptation kicked off previously with artwork done by Kuro. No production, cast, or scheduling details were revealed with the announcement.

Plot concept: One day, a black box suddenly crashed into the house of the high school dropout Naoto Miura. Inside it was a female automaton. The endless cycle of failure and success.

The world that does change and the mankind that does not change. At a time where reality and fantasy are screaming, the encounters of these two make the gears of fate move!
