The latest sales rankings from Japan have arrived for the light novels and manga side of the business and it’s a pretty good week overall. Topping the chart is the fifth volume of Tokyo Ghoul:re as it lands 345,000 units in its first days, followed closely by the second week numbers of Attack on Titan as that does 324,000 units moved. About half the chart is new arrivals and we get good numbers for both Seven Deadly Sins and Detective Conan while also seeing that Mix and Major 2nd are adding some strong second week numbers as they double in sales.
On the light novel side, Sword Art Online: Progressive with its fourth volume adds another 55,000 copies to its total, bringing it to 183,000 since it debut. The top new debut is that of Okitegami Kyouko no Taishokugan, which lands at 30,000 units.
