New ‘Mikakunin de Shinkoukei’ Anime Blu-ray Box Set Promo Lets Cast Highlight Locations

TOHO has a bit to go before we get their price conscious Mikakunin de Shinkoukei Blu-ray release on shelves, but they’re definitely getting more of the promotion out for it. The latest comes in the form of a four-minute live-action promite/digest piece that lets the main trio of actresses have fun together and visiting some of the locations from within the show while bringing out their characters own personalities. Priced at 22,800 yen for the twelve episode series plus two OVAs, it’ll be released on February 27th, 2016. Sentai Filmworks released their version of it on Blu-ray in February 2015. The new Japanese set brings it all down to just three discs instead of the six it had originally but brings through all the same extras, which is almost two hours worth of material including the two ten-minute OVAs.

Plot concept: Based on an original comic written by Cherry Arai, Engaged to the Unidentified is a slapstick romantic comedy centering around 16-year old Kobeni Yonomori, who lost her memory of her childhood due to an accident.
