‘Miss Komori Can’t Decline!’ Anime Gets Japanese Release Plans

2 min read

Komori Crunchyroll HeaderThe home video release plans for the fall series Miss Komori Can’t Decline have finally been realized now that the show is close to ending. The series is going bigger than most short-form shows go as it’s getting a limited edition Blu-ray release priced at 4,800 yen, a regular Blu-ray release priced at 3,800 yen, and a DVD regular edition priced at 2,800 yen. They’re all due out on February 24th, 2016 with details in terms of what extras there will be to be determined later.

The original work began in 2012 in Manga Time Original and has several volumes out so far. The series set Kenichi Imaizumi as the director and Yuka Suguro handling the overall series composition. Yurie Kuniyuki was the character designer and chief animation director with Artland handling the animation production. The cast includes Aya Uchida as Shuri Komori, Ari Ozawa as Megumi Nishitori and Maria Naganawa as Masako Negishi.

The series may seem a little familiar in terms of design and that’s because it comes from the creator of I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying.

Plot concept: Fourteen-year-old Komori Shuri is a junior high school girl who is too nice to decline requests. Constantly doing favors for other people has given her incredible strength!? But even so, she is also an adolescent junior high school girl.
