While the excitement is all about a certain franchise at the moment, there’s the return of another next year with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Warner Bros. has now brought out the first teaser trailer for it so that it can start building the interest and awareness in the film, which with it featuring Eddie Redmayne as the lead is doubly positive with the continued critical acclaim he’s getting for The Danish Girl.
Directed by David Yates, the film is set for release on November 18th, 2016. It stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrel, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Ron Pearlman, Samantha Morton, Jenny Murray, Jon Voight, Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo and Alison Sudol.
The book, released on June 30th, 2015, is done as a Muggles guide to learning about the world of wizards. It describes the author of the book, who is the star of the film here, as “Newt Scamander was awarded the Order of Merlin, Second Class, in 1979 in recognition of his services to the study of magical beasts, Magizoology. Now retired, he lives in Dorset with his wife, Porpentina, and their pet Kneazles: Hoppy, Milly, and Mauler.”
